Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress, born in Berkeley on October 1, 1996. She is known as an actor in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) as well as Chrissie mayr's Content House 2022.

Asia Argento is an Italian actress and film-maker who is the daughter of the largest family. She has also pursued film and acting. The actress began her career in film at age nine in Sergio Citti's Sogni bisogni. By 1988 she had become the main character of Cristina Comencini's Zoo and part of Michele Soavi's The Church. In the following year, she appeared as Nanni Moretti's daughter in Red Wood Pigeon It was when she starred in Close Friends written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career really took off and she could transition from roles that were played by young girls into more complex, mature characters. Daria Argento, her mother, and one of Argento's most beloved actors Daria is an anorexic teenager searching for the killer of her parents in Trauma. Asia played a role in Dario's Phantom of the Opera, the third movie she made alongside her dad. Two of them were Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. The actress co-starred alongside Carlo Verdone in Perdiamoci di vista as Arianna the girl who is physically disabled. The intricate and challenging role won her a David di Donatello award for Best Actress. In 1995, she worked together with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration earned her the David di Donatello prize and an award called a Grolla d'oro. In 1994 Asia began direct and made two short films as part of the series of the film De Generazione In 1996 she produced a documentary about her father, and in 1998, another film on the the cult director Abel Ferrara, AbelAsia which received an award from the Rome Film Festival. Asia's first feature-length film directed by her was Scarlet Diva, in which she played the lead actress and wrote the screenplay. The film premiered in May 2000 in Italy and the rest of the world. The Williamsburg Festival for Films in Brooklyn, New York awarded the film with a award.
